At what age did you begin singing or playing an instrument?
I didn’t start actively singing/playing piano until I was about 13. I took a piano class and fell in love with it, but I wasn’t good enough at piano to play solos so I started singing while I played.

What inspired you to become a singer/musician?
Two people; my grandfather who pursued music all of his life and is one of the most talented people I have ever met and my mentor Jonathan Zajas, who helped me cultivate my talents within music and helped push me to start performing

What genre would you call your music?
Contemporary Christian

What have you learned from being a singer/musician?
Not everyone will love your music and not everyone will be supportive of your dreams to become a performer but if you stay close to the will of God and go where He directs no matter how big the dream or goal, it’ll happen.

Can you say a little about what being a singer/musician means to you?
It’s all about glorifying God. This just happens to be the talent I believe I can best glorify Him in. For me, I feel closest to God when I’m singing/writing songs/listening to music and that wonderful experience of feeling and being close to God is what I want to portray in my music.

What part about being a singer/musician do you like most?
Writing and recording, it’s a blast writing a song and then watching your vision for it come to live through recording.

Have you made any friends because of being a singer/musician?
Absolutely, most of my friends are musicians. It’s nice to keep yourself around people who are talented, it motivates you to strive harder.

Have you traveled because of being a singer/musician?
A little bit, but not as much as I would have liked. Hopefully now that I’m graduating college I will be able to more.

Have you done something exciting because of being a singer/musician?
Being able to publish a song to iTunes was a dream for me, and watching it become a reality was really amazing.
